Refund & Return Policy

Digital Patterns: All sales are finals for digital downloads due to the nature of the product. Listings will clearly state that it is a digital pattern. Digital Patterns will not be refunded if they are watermarked.

Handmade Items:

  • Custom orders are not refundable because they can’t be resold. The customs process makes sure that the product is what you’d want before shipping it to you

  • If your order arrives broken, please contact us through email fluffydetailcrochet@gmail.com or on Instagram Direct Message @fluffydetail. We will pay for return postage where you can send your defective product back to us. Once received, we will fix the order or create a new one if necessary to maintain our sustainability standards.

  • Given the nature of crochet and handmade items, products will slightly differ from the photo. This disclaimer is on all relevant listings so no refunds or returns will be issued for this reason.

  • If you do not receive your package within a month after ordering, please email fluffydetailcrochet@gmail.com or direct message @fluffydetail on Instagram the following:

    • a screenshot showing that your package claims to be ‘delivered’ (tracking number, emails)

    • show proof that you contacted neighbors or roommates and that they package wasn’t accidentally misplaced

    • take a photo of an empty mailbox / delivery area. If you get your mailed delivered to a mailroom, please provide their email contact information so we can reach out to see if its’ in there system.

    After we confirm that your package wasn’t received or lost, you will receive a replacement for your order. If it still doesn’t send through, follow the contact steps above for missing package. If we confirm your package wasn’t received a second time, you will receive a full refund.

Shipping Policy

Many listings are made to order, so it will take around a week to handmake, package, and ship each product. There will be email notices and social media notices for products where this does not apply.

Shipping carrier is USPS and your order automatically calculates shipping costs based on weight.

If there are any requests regarding the packaging of your product like if its a gift, please email us at fluffydetailcrochet@gmail.com as you place your order to see what we can do! We may have different color tissue paper available, adoption certificates for plushies, and more!

Custom Order Policy

Custom orders at Fluffy Detail are created uniquely for each customer so they require full payment upfront before work begins. Due to the personalized nature of these items, they are non-refundable and cannot be canceled once production has started. Customers will receive first fill out the custom order form with their information and custom order details. They will then be contacted through email with a link on the custom orders section of our website with the quoted price of the item. After sending full payment, a design preview will be sent to your email for approval, and changes requested that differ from the original listing after payment may incur additional charges. We retain all intellectual property rights to custom designs and reserve the right to reproduce them unless otherwise agreed in writing. By placing a custom order, you agree to these terms.

Yarn colors and types are limited to yarn in stock from our distributors. We have the right to reject any custom order request (by not making it a listing and not accepting payment for rejected requests). We are grateful and excited to help your vision come to life!

Pick Up Policy

ONLY ON UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA - RIVERSIDE CAMPUS, MUST SCHEDULE BEFORE ORDERING

We offer delivery between 10am-12pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We only offer free delivery direct to customer (no front offices) on UCR campus in the nearest parking lot to your location.

You must email us at fluffydetailcrochet@gmail.com or message us on Instagram before selecting this shipping option. Please provide order information. We will confirm the parking lot number, time, & give information about the vehicle.

During pickup if you are more than 40 minutes late we will consider it a “no-show” and we will need to create another pickup appointment. After 2 “no-shows” you will forfeit your order. If you wish to request a change appointment date or time after a set appointment, you must message us on Instagram @fluffydetail or email us fluffydetailcrochet@gmail.com at least 4 hours prior to agreed pick up time. By picking this shipment option, you agree to our terms.

Copyright & Licensing Policy

All crochet patterns created and listed by Fluffy Detail are exclusively owned by Fluffy Detail and are protected under copyright law. Each pattern is watermarked to safeguard our intellectual property. You may sell up to 50 finished products per month made from our patterns, provided you credit Fluffy Detail as the original designer. Selling more than 50 items per month or selling the pattern itself requires a licensing agreement. Licensing fees start at $600+ for higher product limits or $5,400+ for the rights to sell the pattern as your own. You must email us for approval and obtain written consent before engaging in these activities requiring these specified licensing fees. Each pattern is licensed for individual use only—one pattern per user. Companies producing products using our patterns must purchase a separate pattern for each crocheter and are prohibited from redistributing a single pattern within their organization. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or use of our patterns will result in swift legal action. Fluffy Detail reserves the right to pursue damages and enforce our intellectual property rights.
